Hifz Course
Education – Hifz Course
The Hifdhul Qur’an Course is a program that teaches individuals the memorization of the Holy Qur’an with proper recitation and pronunciation, known as Tajweed. The duration of the course varies based on each person’s capabilities. The course begins with the study of Al-Hamiya, which is an introductory book that helps students understand the correct pronunciation of Qur’anic letters and related phonetic rules. The ultimate goal is for students to be able to recite the entire Qur’an from memory. However, for those unable to commit to memorizing the entire Qur’an, the course provides guidance in memorizing frequently recited Surahs.
The Hifz Section of the course is specifically designed for students who have completed six years of academic schooling and are already fluent in reading the Qur’an. These students are recruited into this section to focus on memorizing the Qur’an.
To summarize, the Hifdhul Qur’an Course covers the following:
- Al Hamiya: An introductory book that helps students understand the correct pronunciation of Qur’anic letters and related phonetic laws.
- Memorization of the Holy Qur’an with Tajweed: Students learn to memorize the entire Qur’an while paying attention to correct recitation and pronunciation.
- Students who cannot commit to memorizing the entire Qur’an are directed towards memorizing frequently recited Surahs.
